On Friday, January 29, 2021, Elton and Special Guest Keith Emerson previewed three rare gems from the Robert Craig Winery portfolio. The hype from the press is not just hyperbole on the 2018 vintage in the Napa Valley. After the classic, but reticent, 2017s, the 2018 vintage wines are powerful, dark and bursting out of the glass. With most of us still unable to gather safely to taste wines in person, this is a perfect opportunity to assess a tremendous vintage from the Napa Valley. This special tasting featured the 2018 Gap’s Crown Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, 2018 Estate Merlot, Howell Mountain, and our very limited 2018 Diamond Mountain Cabernet from Andrew Geoffrey Vineyard.
