A Message to the Craig Community

To our Craig community and wine community at large:

In order to ensure the safety of our employees and guests during the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, we are suspending hosted tastings at our salon in downtown Napa and at our winery on Howell Mountain until we receive the green light from our governor, Gavin Newsom, to return operations to normal. Rather than just obeying a government directive, we want to be good citizens of the world that we all share.

I want to thank all of our Cabernet Clubbers, Craig Nation, mailing listers and customers at large who have sent your support and encouragement along via credit card, email and social media. It is obviously a very difficult time for our little winery, and your financial and moral support has been a huge boost to all of us. The DOW will rise again, and so will The Craig.

In the meantime, we will have a healthy, happy, skeleton crew keeping irregular business hours at the office or working remotely. If you would like to arrange a curbside pick-up of your allocation, please email us sales@robertcraigwine.com and someone will get back to you to coordinate. We would also be happy to ship your usual will call order so that you can enjoy a glass of the Craig sooner as opposed to later. Our online store is a terrific place to while away the hours under lock down, and we can still deliver some world class mountain Cabernet straight to your door.

Wine doesn’t sleep, so Jason and Connor are working away on top of frigid Howell Mountain to get the magnificent 2018 vintage wines prepared for bottling. The rest of us have some mandated reflection time for family, home cooked meals, good books, and deep, red wines. Please tag us at #robertcraigwinery in your social media posts so we can enjoy your company despite social distancing.

We wish you all a safe journey through this outbreak, and thank you again for your support of our wines and our employees. Hopefully we will be back to normal sooner than later.

Love and Peace,

Elton
